Cricut Projects Gift Guides

10 Affordable Gifts For Cricut Beginners

It’s almost gift giving time, which means my Twelve Days of Gift Guides is back for 2019. This year, though, since you know how much I love my Cricut Maker, I’m giving you a full supply list of what you need to get started with 10 affordable gifts for Cricut beginners.

ONE | Basic Tool Set – If you have any type of Cricut machine, this is the single-most important tool set you need. I mean, how have you survived without it so far??

TWO | Machine Mat Variety Pack – It’s super smart to have extra machine mats on hand for big projects, multiple materials, and replacing old ones when they get too dirty to use anymore.

THREE | Transfer Tape – You can never have too much transfer tape. It’s the one material Cricut Crafters blow through like pink Starburst.

FOUR | Portable Trimmer  12” – I use this trimmer for literally everything I need to cut. From vinyl to stickers to photos to coupons from the newspaper.

FIVE | EasyPress 2  9×9 – This is the medium-sized Easy Press Iron, and the one from my collection that I use most often.

SIXUltimate Fine Point Pen Set – Did you know your Cricut can write any font with pens? If you haven’t mastered a hand-lettering class, these pens are about to be your new BFF.

SEVEN | Cricut Access Membership – Want to gift someone the ultimate Cricut present? My biggest recommendation is to buy them a Cricut Access Membership. You can pay annually or monthly and they’ll get access to tons of members-only fonts and images in Design Space. You’ll totally get the biggest piece of pecan pie for a gift like that.

EIGHT | Vinyl Variety Pack Squares – If you hate dealing with rolls of vinyl, these flat 12×12 sheets of vinyl will keep you from accidentally cussing in front of your kids out of pure frustration.

NINE | Self Healing Mat  18×24 – This cutting mat is large and in charge! I use it multiple times a week, for way more than just Cricut projects. My kiddo hacks it for lego building mat, too.

TEN | TrueControl Knife Kit – This handy utility knife comes with extra blades and has an awesome no-touch blade replacement system so you’ll never need your kids’ cartoon band-aids again.
