Good Saturday Morning! I am still groggy from our trip to South Carolina this week. If you follow my Stories on Instagram, you saw that we flew out to Greenville to attend a special event with HART tools. Nigel and I, along with a group of other bloggers and influencers, toured their facility, tested out products, and got a first look at the new HART tools coming this spring. (More on all that in an upcoming blog post)
Even though our flights were short, the trip still took a lot out of us. We are rolling into the weekend feeling part-revived and part-exhausted. How is that even a possible combo?? Today and tomorrow will be all about catching up on chores around the house paired with some fun chill-time to reset ourselves back into work mode. I definitely see some dollhouse decorating in my future over the next two days!
How do you get back in the swing of things when you’re thrown off your schedule due to travel or special projects? I’d love to hear what works for you to get back on track to your normal day-to-day routines.

What’s On My Mind This Saturday Morning
I made the mistake of wearing Jordans throughout the whole trip. I love how they look but they are not the grandpa-level comfort I should have chosen. Next time I travel I’ll be taking these super comfy sneaks instead.
We are huge Jeni’s Ice Cream fans, and we just had their new Everything Bagel flavor shipped to our house. It’s so weird, but also pretty delicious. The Brown Butter Almond Brittle has officially surpassed the the Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip as my favorite, though.
Now that our dressing area is complete, I’m realizing I have so much more room to add to my crystal collection. Do you have a favorite crystal or gemstone? What should I buy next?
We only have one room left upstairs that still has the original jail-cell gray paint and that’s the guest room. Not for long though! I’m perusing wallpaper designs, and also moulding options. Soon there won’t be a gray wall in sight!

Weekly Hip List
1. Wood-Look Digital Clock $19
2. Wall Sconce $129
3. Heavy-Duty Garage Shelving $150
4. Carry On Bag $80
5. Minimalist Broom & Dustpan $40

One Last Thought
Do you still buy magazines? Or has the magazine era come and gone in exchange for the digital world? I’m definitely a magazine chick, and I love to buy one every time I go to a grocery store or Target. There’s just something comforting about snuggling up with a fresh new magazine and flipping through the pages. My favorite magazine is Real Simple, but I love so many others. Weigh in below in the comments…are magazines a dying breed?

Hi! Thx for sharing pics/vids from your HART visit. It is hard to get back into the swing of things after a trip/vacation. I try to take an extra day off before going back to work so that I can unpack & ease my way into the routine. ➡️ I miss magazines! I wasn’t keeping up with them, so I canceled my Real Simple sub which I also loved. I couldn’t even keep up with the digital version. But, I like to buy one when I fly!

So glad you enjoyed seeing the BTS from the HART trip! I have a full blog post recap coming soon. And YES, it’s so hard to get back in the swing of things. I always feel equally inspired and exhausted after a media event. And truth be told, I still haven’t unpacked our bag and we got home two days ago…
And I get it about falling behind on magazines. But I eventually binge them all, and when we have guests over they always seem to grab the magazines from the coffee table and flip through them while I’m making coffee or prepping snacks. Love that you get them when you fly! Perfect for short trips.
