Happy Saturday! Grab a cup of coffee and snuggle up in your favorite seat of the house as we chat about all things home, life, and randomness.
Why are there so many “rules” when it comes to what you wear and how you store your clothes? From the ‘no white after Labor Day’ to the ‘denim must be folded’ rules, there’s a lot to keep up with. And are these rules even rules at all? I was thinking about that this morning as I was planning out some Instagram videos, and wanted to get your opinion.
Are there certain clothing rules you follow when you’re picking out your daily outfits? Certain things you’d never wear out-of-season? Specific rules you have for storing your wardrobe in your closet? Things you always hang or only fold? I’d love to get the conversation going in the comments section this morning and discuss what your Wardrobe Rules are.

What’s On My Mind This Saturday Morning
I finally gave in and ordered a robot vacuum. I’ve been wanting one for a while and found this one on sale so I scooped it up. If my cats don’t ride it around the house I might return it though… kidding, kind of.
Have you ever tried Liquid Death water? I found this strange can of water at Whole Foods and the story on the back of the can was hilarious. It may be all in my head, but the water really did taste extra good. But I poured it in a glass because drinking water from a can felt so weird.
I ordered another rug…I know, I know, why do I keep ordering rugs?? That’s what my husband keeps asking me, too. But hear me out, you can change the look of an entire room just by swapping a rug. No furniture changes, no new accessories, just a rug. I’ll show you what I got later next week.
I think the closet remodel may have solidified our house as the forever house…I was scrolling through Zillow as I usually do (just for fun, no thoughts of moving) and kept thinking about how much we’ve customized our house to make it our own. For the first time in home ownership, I feel settled and content.
Speaking of my closet, Modular Closets has offered to give my readers a discount of 10% using code LELA if you’re planning your own closet upgrade. Luckily they have a professional closet designer that will plan your layout for you, so you don’t have to have “the organization gene” to maximize your space.

One Last Thought
There’s no Weekly Hip List today, because to be honest, I was ridiculously busy this week and didn’t get a chance to make Hip Or Dips. I’m telling you this because you might find yourself overbooked, overworked, and running on empty next week. It’s totally okay to remove some things from your to-do list. Lighten the load. There’s a difference in procrastination and elimination. Procrastination stresses you out, elimination frees you. 🙂
