Happy Saturday! Grab a cup of coffee and snuggle up in your favorite seat of the house as we chat about all things home, life, and randomness.
If you’re a paper planner user, I have a question for you. When do you buy your new annual planner? Do you buy it in the fall during Back To School time or in December/January? And do you prefer a January-December calendar or a July-June?
I’ve been a planner-rocking girl since elementary school. I would make my own planners with notebooks and fill my trapper keeper with decorated outlines of my schedules, projects, and a multitude of lists. And ever since my very first At A Glance planner, I have preferred a July-June layout.
One time, just one time, I bought a January-start planner from Erin Condren and I felt so thrown-off. So much so that in June I ordered a new Lifeplanner with a July start date. I just like to be able to plan my holiday season and my new year projects in the same book. Definitely a preference, but I’m curious what your opinions are.

What’s On My Mind This Saturday Morning
I shared the guest bedroom reveal earlier this week and everyone is loving the wall mural! It actually goes on like wallpaper and was super easy to install. We did it in just two hours. Here’s the pattern I got.
We actually ordered another mural from the same company at our old house. We installed it in Noah’s room and he was head over heels for it. Then we decided to move three months later. Talk about a jerk parent move, right? Such a Mom fail! He was very upset to leave it.
What’s your stance on blanket ladders? Are they still hip to the times or are they a thing of the past? I like the concept, but I keep moving the one I have back into storage because I just don’t seem to like seeing it anywhere anymore.
Speaking of storage, I have a bunch of containers packed away for future organizing projects. But what did I do? I ordered these new containers for the upcoming laundry room project. Why do I do these things? I think I’ll just let the old ones go.
Update: I still have not found the missing bra. It has been three weeks and I have scoured every inch of the house. I think the world’s weirdest criminal broke in, stole a very unsexy (but very comfortable) beige seamless bra, and headed out with nothing else. That’s my final assumption.
