These four household tools get your home clean, your life organized, and help you stay on schedule during the busy back to school season. And bonus points, they’re all cordless! In partnership with HART Tools.
Back To School time is creeping around the corner, and for some of us, it has already started. This time of year always seems so busy and stressful. We’re trying to ease back into our school day routines while juggling all the new responsibilities that come our way. From early morning carpools to evening extracurricular activities, there’s a lot to keep up with. These four tools from HART have helped my own Back To School routine kick off seamlessly, and they all run on the exact same battery!

Glue Gun
Back To School season is also Back To Projects season. Between science fair tri-boards and shoebox dioramas, there is a lot of cutting and glueing in your future. I love a hot glue gun and I’ll use it for any project I can because it dries so quickly. But the cord is very limiting, especially if you’re working on a big poster.

Ever since I got this cordless glue gun from HART, I have never touched my old glue gun again. It runs on the same 20V battery as the vacuum above, as well as every other small tool I own from HART, so I always have one on hand. This glue gun heats up quickly and gets very hot, so no project is too big for it. (Parents of young children will need to use the glue gun; it’s not safe for small hands.) And it takes full-size glue sticks so you refill less often than the mini sticks.

High Capacity Stick Vac
I love a good lightweight vacuum, and this new High Capacity Stick Vac from HART Tools is favorite so far! In my morning haze before the coffee kicked in, I had already spilled a whole container of cereal in the floor and knocked over a glass that shattered into the scattered cereal. Instead of dragging out a bulky vacuum and wrestling with the cord, I was able to pop this guy out of the closet and have the mess cleaned up in no time.

Most Stick Vacs have a really small waste compartment, so it needs to be emptied often. This new High Capacity Stick Vac functions like a slightly smaller standard vacuum and holds a lot of cereal and broken glass. (Oops) It also has a runtime of up to 30 minutes so I can vacuum up all the fur tumbleweeds without having to swap a battery.

Power Source Inverter
How many times have your kids gotten in the car to head to dance practice and realized their phone was at 10%? I’m always paranoid about leaving my son anywhere when his phone battery is low, and this HART Inverter allows him to have a power source no matter where he is.

The Inverter uses a 20V battery to act as a mobile charging station, no wall outlet required. It’s perfect for charging up a phone at an all-day sports event outside, or for kids to charge devices during long car rides from the backseat. I keep our HART Inverter in a zipper pouch along with 2 charged batteries and we take it everywhere we go.

Portable Fan
Speaking of all-day sporting events, just because school has started does not mean it feels like fall yet. Here in Tennessee, our fall season doesn’t kick in until October so we have two full months of very hot outdoor sporting events. Yes, I have tried to be that mom with the neck fan…but it worked about as well as it looked on me… (Not good. Not good at all.)

Now we use this portable fan from HART. It’s a little over 7 inches, so it’s still the perfect size for portability. But it runs on a 20V battery so the power is much stronger than those handheld fans that take double A’s. We also love to break out this fan in the evenings when we have dinner out on our picnic table. It’s just the right amount of breeze without blowing the napkins one yard over.
